GG Fest is a weekend PACKED with bowling tournaments, ball demos, a clinic, raffles, giveaways, and great vibes—all in support of the Gazmine Mason Foundation (GMF), whose mission is to foster education, health, and nutrition for under-resourced youth and individuals through the sport of bowling.​

Douglas (Dougie) Herron — the guy with the pink hat — will be running the tournaments. The weekend will consist of four tournaments, ranging from singles to doubles and trios. More details on tournament formats and prices will be available at a later date. Dougie will likely make posts, but all information will also be available here along with sign-ups. Dougie is scheduled to start sharing tournament information beginning in February.

Ball Demo details​:​

  • $30

  • 3 hours (9am - 12pm) of testing out the newest releases, (about a total of 30 balls) to find the best fit for your style and needs

Some rooms have been blocked off — 10 singles and 10 doubles — at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Pawtucket, RI. This hotel is approximately 10 minutes away from the bowling center. You can book here as an option; however you are not required to stay at this hotel. You may be able to find a cheaper option elsewhere.

Note: Any cancelation within 48 hours of the check-in date will be charged for one night plus taxes.

The GG Fest 2.0 Tee will be revealed closer to the event. Shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. You’ll have the opportunity to pre-order to ensure you get one, and if you’re not attending, you can still order online.

Pop-up merch will be available all weekend from Got Game and the Gazmine Mason Foundation. Items will be available until sold out.​

Wanna have a chance to win your entry fee back during the tournaments you compete in?

Be sure to wear your GG merch (Bgcb2, GMF, Got Game, Afro Puffs, GG's jerseys, patches, rosin bags, hats), whatever you have. If you don’t have any, there will be a table available to get some new stuff. So bring your coins or shop ahead of time. ⬇️

In-person raffle tickets will be available for various items—details to come as we get closer to the event.

 

Online raffle tickets: If you can’t make it to GG Fest 2.0, you’ll be able to purchase raffle tickets online. Instructions and deadlines will be available at a later date. All online raffle ticket purchases are non-refundable and considered a donation to the Gazmine Mason Foundation. Winners will be selected at random and contacted directly. Shipping costs for physical prizes are the winner’s responsibility unless the item is delivered electronically.

Do I have to bowl all the events?

You can do whatever you choose. You can bowl 1, 2, or all of them. You can just show up for the ball demo or clinic, or even just show up for the vibes. Do whatever you mofos want. 💙

​

Can I leave my equipment at the bowl?

We will know if we have access to this space closer to the event. If so, balls will be stored in the paddock area (near lanes 1–4). The room will be locked at the end of each tournament. Storage will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Although the door will be locked, items are left at your own risk.

Can kids bowl in the tournaments?

Our bowling tournaments are not SMART Certified; therefore, youth bowlers are not eligible to participate in the tournaments. However, they can participate in the clinic and ball demo, as well as hang out for the weekend.

Can I get discounts at the Pro Shop?

Strike FX Pro Shop typically always has deals. You can ask the shop at the event or prior to the event, “If they have any discounts for GG Fest?” Ask for Jon. | Shop #: (401) 434-2222

 

I see $5 to GMF, what is that ?

GMF is GG’s foundation. The Gazmine Mason Foundation, is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that fosters education, health, and nutrition to under-resourced youth and individuals through the sport of bowling. We plan to have a great weekend while giving back to help kids progress in their bowling careers at the same time.​​
